Norma Ferriz provides fast, accurate and reliable translations to/from Spanish/English. Norma adheres closely to the American Translators Association’s Code of Professional Conduct & Business Practices. Norma Ferriz is registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and ORCA database.
Translations of documents around any topic are possible, but Norma has special strengths in the following areas:
The materials to be translated include hard copy documents and electronic documents saved in Word, Power Point, and PDF formats. Also accepted graphic in various formats (e.g. *.TIFF, *.JPEG, *.GIF, *.BMP, etc.). Translations are similar to the original document in content, tone, style and format. Translations from Spanish to English are additionally reviewed by a US born and native English speaker.

Expansion: The length of text usually changes during translation. To approximate the word count from English into Spanish multiply by 1.2
Discounts: Single-subject, same document translations of
>10,000 words = 1 cent/word >25,000 words = 2 cents/word.
>50,000 words = 3 cents/word >100,000 words = 3.5 cents/word.
Rush surcharges: Turn-around, on a rate of approximately 2,000–2,500 words per day, is 5-7 business days. If it is an “Immediate Order” that requires work within 2-4 business days, multiply the base rate by 1.5 and 2.0 for work that is required within 24 hours.
Delivery Services: All translations are delivered electronically in MS Office format via email. Delivery in PDF format or via facsimile is available upon request. Overnight UPS delivery is available upon request and will be invoiced at actual cost.
Confidentiality: All work is held in the strictest confidence. No copies of clients’ materials are made and all materials are returned (postage paid by client) to client.
